Based on the serial number NB877383, the machine was made in 1960. The slant needle design is for greater visibility. The finish does have scratches from use. The sewing machine stitches nicely in both the forwards and backwards directions. The machine is capable of sewing fine fabrics such as net and nylon to sheer material, lightweight, medium, medium heavy, including heavy materials such as denim, and sailcloth.

The sewing machine has the capability of using either a singe or double needle. It can preform numerous stitching from straight, button holes, zig-zag, and more.

The manual and original box have both been tapped. All of the pages but all of the pages are there. There three bobbins with the machine. The top hat fashion disks that are included are follows. #8 - 174528 Blind Stitch. #9 - 174527 Multi Zigzag.
