Heavy Duty Singer Sewing Machine. Which dates her to 1946.

A lovely machine, as seen in the photos. Running smoothly and sewing well. She has been oiled, cleaned, lubed, polished and tested.

She sews a wide variety of materials, including leather and denim, as well as lightweight dressmaking fabrics. This is such a pretty machine and so hard working!

Full steel body and metal gears. Straight stitch, with adjustments for pressure and tension. Generous harp area (work area between needle and right side).

Simanco (Singer Manufacturing Co) foot controller with matching wrinkle finish and new wiring. Our Singer sewing machine consultant worked for Singer for YEARS. He verified that this is a heavy duty machine, good for sewing denim, leather, etc. In at-home amounts (not for industrial use).

She's a beautiful machine, ready for a new life with you. She has the unique textured "wrinkle finish" and beautiful gold geometric details. She is set in an original Singer sturdy wood base. The power cords are nice and pliable, and the cord from the motor to the foot pedal is brand new. This is a strong, reliable machine, ready for years of use to come. New bobbin winder ring, new light bulb installed, and lots of extras that come with this lovely vintage work-horse!

The original manual has absorbed some oil over the years, so a larger printed copy of the manual is also included for everyday use. Some small rubs here or there in the finish of the machine and normal wear to the painted finish on the little stitch length lever, but nothing that takes away from her beauty or functionality. She comes with extra bobbins, needles, Singer buttonholer, hemstitcher and rugmaker attachment with instructions, zipper attachment foot and seam guide, etc. You're going to love her!
