Electric Sewing Machine with Foot Pedal Control. Serial Number Serial number AB094725, which dates her to 1926. A lovely machine in excellent condition, as seen in the photos. Serviced (cleaned, polished, oiled, tested), and now ready for you.

She is a "Potted" machine, known for her strong, direct drive train (doesn't use a belt). She sews a wide variety of materials, including leather and denim.

The 101 lays down some of the finest stitches any round bobbin machine can be expected to produce and can proudly match the quality of the 201's at a lower price. The 101 was Singer's very first residential sewing machine specifically designed to be used as an electric sewing machine. The stitch length regulator is a rotary dial on the bed-plate surface beside the pillar of the machine. The 101 uses a common 15x1 needle and a class 66 drop-in bobbin - so easy and accessible! She has a working light fixture and features a large work area.

Extra needles and bobbins included, as well a a screwdriver, many attachments, original Singer cardboard attachments box (has some wear), and a printed copy of the manual. This is such a PRETTY machine and so hard working!

Straight stitch, with adjustments for pressure and tension. Bobbin winder (new bobbin winder ring installed).

Generous harp area (work area between needle and right side). Thread cutter behind the needle bar. Our Singer sewing machine repair professional worked for Singer for YEARS. He verified that this is a heavy duty machine, good for sewing denim, leather, etc for at-home projects (not in industrial amounts).
