All test was made useing 15 x 1 size #18 needle, Coats t26 upholstery thread.

Coats t26 upholstery thread is equivalent to commercial #69 nylon thread. Parts are still available for this machine. This Singer Sewing Machine 201-2 is a heavy duty straight stitch sewing machine, top load bobbin (rotary hook).

Coatings, upholstery, cotton duck, heavy twills canvas. Polyester double knits, nylon, tricot, jersey, stretch terry, spandex Circe tricot. Stitch very good both sides. Maximum Foot Clearance 5/16 or 5 Quarters.
