Vintage Singer Model 5525 Sewing Machine Metal Heavy Duty! Free Arm, Working

This is a great heavy duty metal sewing machine from Singer. It is model number 5525 and it's a great retro color of brown and beige. This machine is a real workhorse! It is heavy duty and can easily handle multiple layers of denim, canvas, and even leather if you use a leather needle. It is very easy to operate.

You simply change the dial to the stitch you want. It is a free machine which makes it easy to sew cuffs and smaller circular items. It has a built-in Bobbin winder and is very easy to thread. Abother great feature of this machine is that it has a hinged light cover, which allows you to change the lightbulb and oil the machine without having to use any tools. The machine has 6 built-in stitches and surprisingly is relatively quiet and fast.

It comes with the power cord and foot pedal as well as a thread cap and the extension table. In addition, so many accessories are included.

There is a seam ripper, tape measure, needle threader, two extra bobbins and a pack of needles. This is a huge lot.

This is a wonderful machine and is built to last. These machines are far superior to the plastic ones that are out today. If you are in search of a good basic, solid, reliable, sewing machine, this one is for you.

This machine is in great working order. There are some scuffs and scratches, typical of age and use. There is a small piece of the plastic facing missing from the left side, but it does not affect use in anyway.
